Haywood Rope Access Ltd strive to set an example with safety on projects. We are approved contractors with CHAS and continually monitor our safe systems of work for ways in which we can improve.

All works under the supervision of Haywood Rope Access Ltd are subject to our strict "Rope Access Procedures".

All works have full Risk Assessments and Method statements which detail all hazards and describe the works in detail. All projects have a rescue procedure in place before work commences. 

Haywood Rope Access Ltd follows current legislation when working at Height. We adhere to ISO 22846:2 "Personal Equipment for Protection against Falls- Rope Access Systems". All rope access technicians are constantly attached to two separate rope systems, one rope is providing work positioning at the work area the other rope is there as a fall arrest system. In the unlikeley event of the work positioning system failing the fall arrest rope will dramatically reduce the impact and consequences of the fall. All works are carried out under the supervision of a competent rope access supervisor.

All rope access technicians are qualified through the Irata Training and Certification Scheme. This involves an intense 4 day training course followed by a 1 day independant assessment. All technicians are also time served tradesmen who have the added skill of providing their own access equipment. This means there is no need for traditional access structures where the buildings security is put at risk. Using rope access methods also prevents unauthorised access from third parties.
